My name is Maggie Freeling.

I'm an investigative journalist and I'm excited to tell you about my new podcast from the Obsessed Network called Unjust and Unsolved.

Each episode tells the story of a person who I believe has been wrongfully incarcerated.

The Innocence Project gives a conservative estimate that there are over 20,000 innocent people locked away in US prisons.

When I learned this, I sent letters to those whose stories haunted me.

I heard back from almost everyone. They all wanted to be heard.

And so on Unjust and Unsolved, I'm doing just that.

I speak with those people, their loved ones, advocates and lawyers,

diving deep into the crimes they were convicted of and presenting the evidence that points away from them.
