Summary

Welcome to the very first greatest hits collection of Tights and Fights!  Producer Julian Burrell has collected three of the best segments from the show’s archives for your enjoyment. Misandry Corner Danielle Radford leads the team to discuss some of the sexist history of wrestling’s past. In this inaugural edition of the segment, the spotlight is on WWE’s most sordid Diva’s moments: a water balloon wet T-Shirt contest. How terrible was this? And which men would we like to see recast in it? My Special Wrestler Comic creator Box Brown joins the program to discuss one of the greatest heels of all time: Ravishing Rick Rude.  Ring Tones Comedian Hannibal Buress joins the program to discuss the music of Triple H. This will include every phase of his career from his time as Hunter Hearst Helmsley to his joining DX to becoming the cerebral assassin to his modern-day role as the WWE’s chief executive of talent relations. Hosted by Julian Burrell, Hal Lublin, Danielle Radford and Mike Eagle.  Produced by Julian Burrell for Maximum Fun. 0:51.4

We had some obligations, not the least of which was Valentine's Day

0:55.1

and some other professional commitments that we all kind of wanted to take precedent for the week

1:00.3

before WrestleMania season comes up and before Max Fun Drive season also comes up. We kind of just

1:06.5

want to take a quick breather, handle our own business, and then come back bigger and stronger

1:10.3

than ever next week, which I'm really looking forward to. But we still did want to have a quick breather, handle our own business, and then come back bigger and stronger than ever next week, which I'm really looking forward to.

1:36.2

So without further ado, let's go to the first installment that I had ready for the day. It's Danielle's beloved signature segment, Misandry Corner. This was actually

1:45.0

the first time we ever recorded the misandry corner segment. And it's, for those of you who aren't

1:51.4

aware, it's where we kind of take some of the more sexist past of wrestling and kind of reframe it

1:57.6

and kind of reformat it and put men at the center of that just to kind of have some fun at some moments that or decidedly not fun in a post-woke 2018 mindset that all of us are kind of approaching this from. So we hope you guys enjoy it. Here we go. Oh. Tice and Fights podcast, Tice and Fights.
