Good morning everyone. This is Tuck. It is 8.30 a.m. Pacific time on election day. I just sort of rolled out of bed and into my closet to say

0:17.8

hi standing sounds hard so I just took the mic off the stand and I'm holding it so you may hear some

0:25.1

mic handling noises. I don't have much to say to you I just wanted to say hello

0:31.9

I know this is a really big day

0:35.0

for people in the United States

0:37.0

for people all over the world

0:40.0

not to be narcissistic about America I've just. It's a big deal in other places too.

0:46.2

been thinking a lot about how wild it is to hear cis people talk about like how much

1:29.2

representation there is for trans people now as if trans people have ever been you know represented in

1:35.4

literally any system of power ever in United States history and I know

1:41.2

politics isn't everything but I do enjoy seeing trans people in any political office or any position of power because I don't know how else we're going to get basic human rights or be seen as

1:55.2

competent people if we don't start being represented in in places other than

2:02.2

television.

2:04.4

And I know that political representation

2:06.2

doesn't fix everything, like look at Barack Obama.

2:10.4

But I don't know, I just, we could use some structural power you know

2:15.4

Anyway, I wanted to remind you that the trans lifeline exists and you can call them at any time Trevor Project exists if you are an LGBTQ youth.
