I think it's time to move on to be very pointedly angry at Joe Biden.

This is from the new republic. Joe Biden chose this catastrophic path every step of the way and it sort of

opens with this slightly long piece says it's unclear yet whether the consequences of Israel's post

October 7 war will be as bad as the Iraq war they very well might but one thing

already clear is that both catastrophes were enabled in part by a U.S.

president with strong ideological biases, a confidence in his own judgment as unshakable as it was unjustified, advisors unwilling or unable to push back

effectively, and an elite media establishment with an overtly militarist bent and a shockingly callous disregard for Arab lives,

far more interested in editorializing about college student chance than about sitting U. that is people with actual power urging Israel to

flatten Gaza in quotes and yeah I mean things are real bad like the more you read into the

Biden administration and their interactions with Israel and Netnahu the more you

think like how can you be that dumb for that long if you're

really cynical I know some of us on this call sometimes like to go the extra

cynical route you might think like, well, he hasn't

meant anything that he said about pushing for peace or containment or whatever. I tend to think that he does mean it, but he's actually just dumb enough to think that the path he pursued of,

as one quote in one of these articles says,

a, an all carrot no stick strategy of like,

we promise to give you all the weapons you could possibly need,

but we're gonna look at you pretty sternly
