But you are such an advocate for Dressumber.

Thank you so much for having me. Yes, I love to talk about this project and I'm excited for any opportunity to share.

So why don't we start by telling people what the Dressumber Foundation is? What are you advocating for, what role do they play, etc?

Yes, the Dressumber Foundation is a nonprofit organization that exists to empower everyday advocates in the fight against human trafficking.

I have been involved since 2014. And yes, I'm like a grizzled veteran.

Yes, but it's a cause that I, through my advocacy, have really learned more and more about.

And it just motivates me to continue to stay involved and help others engage in a way that is good for them.

So the Dressumber Foundation raises awareness and funds that then is distributed to nonprofit organizations on the front lines of anti trafficking work.

So both within the US and all around the world, there are lots of organizations out there doing this work and they apply for grants as part of the foundation.

And there are criteria that they get evaluated on and the grants are all different shapes and sizes, depending on what the project is.

So it's not just sort of a one and done type of thing. The board evaluates the applications and they go from there.
