Well, a lot has happened, not least of all, DNA testing.

We've got a lot to brief everyone on. So I'll start with Sal.

Yeah, hi everyone. Just to reiterate that we had had my mom's ballet slippers collected by the new head of the missing person's unit in

Sydney. He took them back with him and they did their testing for the DNA on the ballet slippers in the hope that we might be able to gain

mums DNA obviously this is very difficult because I've got things like China and you know letters and things like that from her but and we have

tested things like the stamps on the back of the postcards and had negative results.

So I was really confident actually that there may have been just a small

sampling there that they could have got to have her DNA but unfortunately that

came back as a negative. Gary gave me a call a couple of weeks back and told me that unfortunately

was negative and I've had that confirmed by multiple of the detectives in New South

Wales.

And the Balina bone?

So I found out about the Balina bone only last week.

You might remember I've been sort of asking them to test this and Gary said he wasn't able to find the bone,

but I had clarification that missing

persons unit indicated that they had found the bone and tested my DNA against

the bone however it through a negative result as well.

Oh, that's not good.
