know, Mark has faced a similar journey to Sally when he lost his son Matthew in 2007.

Mark, tell us about that. Good morning and thank you.

Yeah what manner was in some ways rather similar to Sally's other ways quite

different. Our son Matt Matt, went missing in 2007 and we, sadly, we knew from the outset that

he wasn't going to return and that he'd been killed. We built with police as Sally has done and I was raised on

the parents to trust authorities and to understand that the police had our best

interests at heart and were doing the right thing for us.

Well, so I thought.

Our case almost went cold with the six weeks.

This is not about police bashing.

It's about making objective comments on what's happened.

And when I heard the conversations broadcast the last two

episodes in particular the anger in me well when I heard the way that

Sally has been treated and I just had to speak out because you've got to stand up

and complain we learned to do that after a while but not at the start we didn't't know to do that. We thought that the police
