i am broadcasting from missouri missouri dude you you know people call it Missouri when you're in Missouri? I'm like Missouri and like Missouri. I'm like, what? How do you spell it? That's great. That's a good little piece of information there. I'm not sure if I've ever been to Missouri. How would you describe it, man? How's your trip been going so far?

I know you said you had a show last night, right?

Yeah, well, actually, I'm headlining the Blue Room Comedy Club tonight and tomorrow,

but Allegiant Air, which I don't think I've ever flown, they fly direct from Los Angeles into Springfield, Missouri, which is where this club is.

I've been to Springfield, Missouri before, but this is back when I was, you know, flying all

over the place and driving and doing all sorts of college shows.

So I get to, but they don't fly every day.

That's my point.

So I called the club and I go, hey, I can't fly in on Friday directs and it's kind of a real pain in the ass to get there otherwise. I go, but Allegiant Air flies in on Thursday. I go, I have a flight Sunday direct out because they fly on Sunday and the guy knew exactly what I was talking was like, oh, Allegiant flies on Thursdays now. And I'm like, yeah, is there any way I can come in and kind of like close out that do you have a show that night they're like yeah we have like the open mic so i just close out the open mic last night dude open mics are just it's it's it's always it's kind of fun man because anywhere like anywhere in open mic is fun because like who is doing it, you know? Because most people that try stand-up comedy don't end up continuing to do it you know what I mean it's something you try I don't know who knows a bucket list thing I feel like a little bit too right it's like oh I did stand-up comedy one time you know yeah there's yeah I think there's that but there's also you know stand-up is a pretty tough thing to make a living at. And I think once you realize

how hard it is and how hard it is to get booked and how, because I mean, I was there too,

man, and you start, you go on stage and you say things that you're like, that's funny. And then,

like, as you're on stage, you see strangers staring at you like, what? Just just like why would we laugh at that and you

quickly realize oh me being funny at the party is like way different than me being funny on

stage and you realize how quick you have to make people laugh and stuff but just funny to watch

all these different people there's a when I walked in there's a skinny dude on stage I don't

know his name and he was just like all his jokes I'm not trying to hate it all, dude, because everybody who starts out, like, does know what the fuck they're doing at the beginning. This guy had such a funny voice. And I think he was, like, a naturally funny guy, but he basically had no jokes. He'd just say something. He'd be like, I mean, are you fucking kidding me? I mean, what the fuck, right?

That was the end of every one of his jokes.

And I'm like, there was no punchline.

It was just that.

And I just like, this guy, but I think he's like a naturally funny character, dude,
