Hello, my name's Justin DeClu, and I'm the producer of this gold ninja video disc, and I'm here today with my co-host on the Important Cinema Club, and Jimmy Wang Yu fan Will Sloan.

And while this set is dedicated to the director, Kao Pao Shu. I already did a featurette on her.

We'll talk about a little bit about a career, but there's not really that much information out there, I think, to fill a 90-minute track.

So we're mostly going to be focusing on Jimmy.

And I think segue into just Hong Kong cinema in general, right? Well, that's right. I have a

couple of questions to ask you just off the top. First of all, I'm curious, what made you

choose this film? So originally, when I wanted to do a set dedicated to Kao Pao Shu, because she's

one of the only women directors to work in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

I mean, that was my main goal.

And the original film that I had was the Master Strikes, which is the last available release

that she did, which is kind of a more wacky kung fu comedy thing.

And I love that film, by the way.

I just want to throw that out there.

And it is included as the other feature on this disc.

And the only issue I had was that was one.

The title was very generic.

And it didn't have a hook like Blood of the Dragon and starring Jimmy Wang Yu, which I feel like this film does have.

And I should point out here that the actor that Jimmy Wang

Yu is fighting is Tia Ye, who was a repertory player with the unofficial Jimmy Wang Yu company,

having previously appeared in One Arm Boxer and Beach of the War Gods, which is a great picture.

And he showed up in a lot of Jimmy Wang Yu productions. And he actually gets a special appearance credit here.
