Stephen is the founder and CEO of Cuts Clothing.

If you don't know what that is, it is usually the shirt that I am wearing in many of my videos.

They're an amazing company that's already been valued at nine figures.

Now, in this podcast clip, we talked about how he got started creating this company and this brand,

how they go about selling so many different shirts,

what it's like spending millions of dollars on marketing to get the shirt seen,

and just what it's like overall, being a founder of something so large.

So this was one of my favorite interviews I've ever done, and I think you're going to really enjoy

this clip. I'm really excited to pick your brain and how you started this brand because,

just hearing your story briefly about it, you know, is like, what, six years ago?

Six years ago, yeah. Six years ago, you guys have done over nine figures and sales,

which is absolutely crazy, with no VC funding. You tell me, start on a credit. I don't want to

take the story away, dude. You tell me how this all got started. Perfect. So back in 2015,

I was working on an advertising agency, and I show up. I was kind of the lowest guy in the totem

bowl. I was going to photo shoots, to board meetings, and I had just left a photo shoot where it was

kind of hot out. So I wore a luleum shirt and nice jeans and nice shoes, and then I showed up to

the board meeting, and my boss looks at me and goes, he's like, hey, you got to get out of here.

You can't wear that. Get out of here. Go find something more professional, the way to work. And at

that moment, I realized, you know, what there is, I really need for something professional,

but comfortable for the casualization of the workforce. And I was fortunate enough in 2015 to be

in one of those businesses that the casualization was happening probably before the masses.
