Summary

BONUS EPISODE: This is one of the sessions from our recent recording project with Jon Harris, AD Robles, and Pastor Joel Webbon.

Like a dog that returns to its vomit, so an American returns to CNN for the news.

Our Legacy Media has done nothing but lie to us for the past two years (and certainly, much longer than that). And yet, the moment they turn their news cameras to Ukrainian, the American public immediately believes every word they say. Why are we so quick to believe every narrative? Why are we not willing to exercise more discernment? Why do Americans, and sadly even Christians, seem to never learn our lessons?

Hey guys, real quick, before we get started, I have a small request. If you've been blessed by our

0:04.5

content and you like this show, would you take just a brief moment and leave us a five-star review?

0:09.7

This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content

0:14.6

gets out to as many people as possible. Thanks. All right, once again, I am pleased to be joined by Adi Robles and John Harris. I'm the

0:24.3

host for this conversation, Pastor Joel Webbin with Right Response Ministries. And we're going to

0:29.0

speak in this episode about nationalism. I'm going to talk about Christian nationalism. We're going to talk

0:34.7

about pacifism, war, just war theory, the whole nine yards.

0:38.5

But first, basically, we want to try to climax into the conversation of what are the criteria

0:43.9

for just war and not just for individuals with conflicts, but nations going to war.

0:50.0

We'll liken this to Russian Ukraine or China, Taiwan, and some of the relevant issues in our day.

0:55.1

But first, we have to argue because the world has lost its mind for the legitimacy of nations to begin with.

1:02.6

We have to argue against pacifism.

1:05.2

That it's not a biblical principle.

1:08.1

And so we're going to start with nationalism first.

1:13.3

Nations being biblical. And there's a good kind of nationalism and there's a bad kind of nationalism. Me and John were just talking about

1:17.7

this before we started recording. So John, pick up where we were talking. Yeah. So in order to get to

1:23.4

just war theory, just like we would talk about violence and adjudicating conflicts between

1:29.8

individuals, we have to know that there's individuals and there's actually a certain sense

1:33.2

of worth, they have possession, they have things they can own.

1:36.3

There's a whole set of assumptions to even approach the question of like, how do you adjudicate

1:40.6

things?

1:41.3

So when it comes to just war theory, we're talking about nations in conflict. Well, if you don't believe that there should be nations or that there are nations,
