veteran, former VP of Marketing and Sales at the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals, author of two books.

So you took time.

I mean, you recorded radio this morning, so this is kind of a double-a-header for you, as we say.

But one thing that I'm just really curious about, just take me to the beginning.

How did you get into radio? when did that become kind of an interest for you? Well, when I was a kid, my dad died at an early age

and my mother, we were at a mom and pop grocery store and she sold the grocery store and we moved

into a little house in town, which was a small town in northern Wisconsin. And exploring, I went up

into my bedroom and there was a little tiny trap door.

I opened the trap door and shined a flashlight into the attic.

And besides cobwebs, I saw a copper wire that was strung under the eaves back and forth,

back and forth, back and forth.

And the entire underside of the attic was an antenna.

And I had an old zenith radio. so I ran a lead wire from the back
