Hi, I'm Sally Hepworth and I'm also an author of nine books now most recently

Darling Girls and I'm a friend of Anna's.

Anna, you began your career as an actor,

which I did know, I didn't know

that you had narrated a couple of your own audio books.

I can't believe that you don't know that and I can't believe that that's never come up.

I narrated the safe place and I narrated part of the Shadow House because in the Shadow House there are two

POVs one of which was much more kind of suited to my voice and then there was an older woman and we got a voice actor to play her and then I've also

narrated two other audio books that are not mine so like I was hired as an actual voice artist like in its

own right kind of thing just to yeah so I did yeah I did Anna snuckstras out of

breath and a really great book by Maxine Fawcett called

Everything is Perfect. I have always wondered how hard it would be to narrate a book in general let alone your own book. I think that did you

find yourself wanting to edit it as you were writing? Well the funny thing about

audio narration when it's your book is that they kind of assume that you know

what you're doing.
