And this is a show that we do every month that can be a little bit different.

Yeah, we kind of swap the format up, let our hair down a little bit.

I'm Dan Wood. I'm Ravi Abbott and I'm Joe Fart. And here we are at the end of January as we record this, which it does feel a long time ago that we last did one of these shows. I mean, the arcade special that we did was before Christmas. That I don't know about you guys, feels like about six months ago now, Christmas. Oh, yeah, probably because I'm crawling to payday as well, but yeah. I'm still celebrating, so it's not that bad. Yeah, Robbie's still going to Christmas parties every night. But yeah, I mean, if it has been a bit of a long crawl through January and probably start of February when this show lands.

Hopefully we are making your days a little bit brighter and we'll have a bit of fun over the next hour or so.

Because today we're going to be doing something that so many people have said to us either in person at events or on our socials or when we do the patrons hangouts or comments on videos that we do it's always like

come on guys you need to get joan amiga get him on there get him playing some games come on

initiate him into the club so we're kind of going to be doing that today aren't we think it's

indoctrinate him that's uh injunating kidnap me to the religion yeah yeah because we've done lots of episodes about other systems. We've done like, you know, our top Super Nintendo games, top PlayStation games. But really, you know, the Amiga, which is a guest kind of, you know, the retro hour came out of Ravi and I's YouTube channels, which were mainly Amiga focus but then. And actually, I think we were at the Amiga 30 event in Amsterdam, slightly worse for where when we actually came up with the idea of doing the retro our podcast. So, you know, the Amiga's got a lot to thank the Amiga for this podcast. And the reason that we didn't ever do an exclusive Amiga episode of this is, Kosteo, you haven't really got much of a background in the Amiga. There's no background, unfortunately. Or fortunately, depending. How you want to look at it? No, I was going to ask, actually, did you ever actually see an Amiga grown up? Did you know anyone that had one, or did you not know about them? So I didn't, so from hanging out with you guys and seeing them and stuff like that, like, I wouldn't have known really what an Amiga. I always knew the name Amiga and I always kind of like, I think I knew it was a computer and it wasn't a console, but I didn't, if you'd asked me a few months ago, or maybe a few years ago,

I would have said, oh, I've never played one before or anything like that.

But I don't want to spoil it all too much, but a lot of memories have come flooding back

recently from having played one now a little bit more.

And because of that, I'm like, oh yeah, you know what?

So and so did have one and we did play this game on it, if that makes sense. I don't want to spoil like my list, you know, like my favorite games and stuff like that. So, yeah, the vague memories and recollections of playing them a little bit. but generally, you know, whenever I kind of say like, you know,

oh, I do a podcast or somebody at work or whatever, I say we talk about retro games and stuff like that, they always go, what about Amiga? You know, like, especially like, you know, I don't want to say you guys are old or anything like that, but if they're kind of like in their late 30s or early 40s or something, If the hairs going great. If the hairs going great, they always talk, he always go, what about the Amiga? What about the Amiga?

And for me, but if they're kind of like in their late 30s or early 40s or something, if the hair's going gray.
