I mean, I guess so maybe we could talk a little bit about what a new system would look like or what a new world order would look like or how we would even get to one.

Like I know you want to, you've talked, you know, we talked a little bit offline, but you talked about

like the, the Mark Carney speech that everybody was, you know, so gaga about a Davos, about middle powers,

kind of adjusting to the new reality where they're being exploited and

they need to stand together or find mutual ways to kind of work together.

I'm skeptical of this. If for no other reason then that Carney himself is like the perfect

avatar because he had this argument with Trump.

He had the president of the United States threatening to turn Canada to the 51st state,

you know, threatening tariffs that would have, you know, crippled the Canadian economy.

They had this very bitter kind of back and forth.

He gives this speech at Davos that seems

like a wake-up call like, hey, you know, maybe being tied at the hip to the United States isn't the

unalloyed good that we used to think it was, and we need to adjust to the new reality. And then

Trump goes to war with Iran and Mark Carney falls immediately in line,

immediately in line, despite the fact that this is everything that a defender of the liberal world order should hate.

It's an illegal war of aggression, of choice.

You can count the ways that this violates any sort of system of

world order and it's just the United States running roughshod. And yet, here we are with the,

you know, the guy who's setting out this new course for the middle powers just saying,

yeah, this is good. I'm down with this. I have some concerns, but, but on the whole, I'm okay with it. So how do we

break that? Like, how do you break the middle powers out of something like that and actually get them

...
