I was sophomore. I was really involved in the community. I was star athlete football and basketball. I was a really good student. So I got called down to the office. Everyone that had any position of power in

the school was in the office waiting for me to tell me what happened. They tell me what happened

to my dad was arrested and immediately like the room went dark and I immediately thought I was like,

I'm going to have to go back into foster care. I walked out that room into the hallway and broke

down. My high school football coach actually came out after me and he said, I don't know how we're

going to do this.

I don't know how it's going to make sense, but you're going to come live with us and we're

going to figure this out.
