Let me introduce you to Dr. Kip Swinney of Baylor University. Steve introduces the professor.

and I, Steve, of the History of the Papacy podcast. Today we are joined by Professor Kip Swinney

of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Professor Swinney holds a PhD in religion from Baylor, has written numerous articles, and knows a list of languages longer than my arm.

We are very excited to have Professor Swinney on the show to help Gary and I wrap up this series and teach us a thing or two or 20 on the 12.

You may absolutely call me Kip.

I tell my students that they can call me kip as long as my dean's

not in the room but if my dean's in the room they better call me dr swinney right we uh we like

like to be a little laid back here kip can you maybe tell us a little about a bit about

yourself and how you got interested in the 12 prophets.

Yeah. So I took a course on prophetic literature when I was in undergrad, and I was a Bible major as an undergraduate student.
