Summary
2 Samuel shows us three different moves in the life of David: David’s triumphs, David’s transgressions, and David’s troubles. God will establish a dynasty through David; and God will have his line be king forever! But we also see that the forgiveness of sin does not mean that the troubles and consequences go away.
