Hey everyone, it's Tuck, you know me, we've met before.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to make sure that everyone is aware that our annual grant

program is currently open for applications.

As always, we're looking for trans people of color who are doing some kind of rad art

or organizing work that supports their communities.

And this year for the first time, we are able to offer grants of up to $1,000, which

is huge, it's huge for us.

We're really excited to fund all sorts of rad projects.

Now of course, applications are only open through midnight on Halloween, so you have until

the end of the month to get your application in and you may say, Tuck, that's Tuesday night.

It's Friday at the earliest, that's only a few days away.

Why are you telling me this to late in the game?

And to that I say, I literally just forgot that I never made an announcement on the podcast.

But no worries, because the application is meant to be pretty quick.

There are only a few short answer questions.

I would say if you write more than like 600 words total on the application, something has

probably gone wrong.

The other thing I'll note is that we normally get between 400 and 500 applications and

award about 20 grants.

This year we've gotten 60 applications and there are five days left.

So yes, a bunch will come in at the last minute, but will 400 come in at the last minute,

probably not.
