Today we continue with trickster tales and the story of Bonita the tricky sheep told by Anne Johnson.

It's a story from Cape Verde, which is a nation of ten islands in the Atlantic off the West African coast.

A lot of schools in the UK have just finished for the summer holidays, yippity-doodah day.

So, lots of happy children are splashing in fountains and playing in the woods.

I was lucky enough to attend the Fate Storytelling Festival this weekend, in the west of England,

not too far from Wales. I really enjoyed watching storytellers I knew like Daniel Morden,

Seft Townsend, Peter Chan, Dave Tong and Amy Douglas, all telling tales.

Amy is going to be telling super great stories online with Jason Buck every month, starting on September the 14th.

Anne is from South London. She tells stories and writes songs. She believes that children need stories and music and art in the same way that plants need the sun and the rain.

So, for more than 20 years, she's run Everyday Magic, a charity which takes storytellers into primary schools in London. What lucky children, imagine having two Kate or Seth in your classroom regularly to tell you stories and sing you songs.
