Let's start with the new appointment to the FBI.

So Cash Patel was confirmed, barely, much to the chagrin of a lot of people.

But what makes it worse, or what could have made it better, I'll put it that way, we could

have made it better in the minds of a lot of people would be, you know, the face of the FBI,

the director of the FBI is this person who has been somewhat

polemical, who has touted an enemy's list of sorts.

But the day-to-day running of the agency, which is very important to public safety and to

fighting terrorism and to law and order and all sorts of other things, that if the deputy who

really runs the place had been a sober-minded person of even

temperament from within the ranks to provide continuity and trust and respect from the ranks
