Australian officials have revealed new details about the gunmen who opened fire on Bondi Beach will give you the latest.

So overnight Australian officials have given another press conference and they've revealed some really important information about the two men who carried out that appalling attack on Bondi Beach.

So firstly, they found homemade explosives and two homemade Islamic State flags, which obviously gives us a very clear indication that this was an attack that

was inspired by Islamic State, a terror attack, as inspired by Islamic State. And they also

revealed that the two men went on a trip to the Philippines last month. So we're not 100%

sure why that has been treated as suspicious, but that trip is now under investigation.

And ABC News, that's Australia's national broadcaster, says that they've spoken to sources,

so the gunmen got military-style training on that trip in the month before the shooting.

Sky News hasn't verified this.
