According to new data from the Department of Homeland Security, the number of migrants caught

sneaking through our southern border has reached the lowest level since 1970.

This is based on fiscal year 2025, which came to an end on October 1st.

238,000 migrants were apprehended last year, which is slightly above the 202,000 caught back in

1970.

Of the 238,000 caught for fiscal year 2025, more than 60% were apprehended during the final three months

of Joe Biden's administration. So he gets credit for a lot of this. In 2022, more than two

million apprehended at the border. Now it's down to 238,000. Donald Trump now calling this the most secure border

in American history. And yet, we need to hire 10,000 new ice agents and conduct raids in Chicago,

Portland, and Los Angeles. The border, according to Donald Trump,

has never been more secure. And yet, Donald Trump needs to invoke the Alien Enemies Act to combat

the invading army of Venezuelan gangs. The border has never been more secure.

Yet, we have to spend more on ice

than on all our other federal law enforcement agencies combined

to stop the flow of marauding immigrants through a border that has never been more secure.

prison corporations tens of billions of dollars for 100,000 more beds.
