Fifteen people. Just check about. Fifteen people, including a 10-year-old girl and a British-born rabbi killed yesterday morning at a Jewish festival. We're back there again, a Jewish festival on a beach in Bondi in an act described as was pure evil, utterly contemptible.

Police say that the two gunmen, a 50-year-old father and his 24-year-old son, died at the scene.

One man has emerged as a hero. I don't know if you saw the footage extraordinary. He runs a fruit

and veg shop in the Sutherland area of Sydney.

And this man basically disarmed one of the gunmen.

He's currently in hospital, shot in the arm and the hand.

But worldwide clamour for this man, an absolute hero.

I am probably going to be more outspoken on this than I've been on anything.

I think people who know me know

that I have many, many Jewish friends. And a lot of broadcasters have said that they go, oh, I've got

that, I genuinely have many, many Jewish friends who have been telling me for a long, long time,

that their kids cannot still go to school in London in their blazers on the bus for fear of

retribution. And I think it's about time that we as a nation and as a world

gave the same credence to anti-Semitism, which is blatant racism for a race that dealt with,

we know what happened 60 years ago. Explain to me in any way how if you're a Jewish person,

you can comprehend that that can happen to your

forefathers and now across the world, it seems, you can be targeted simply for your religion.

We know that war start religion and we know there are two sides to every story. I'm interested

to hear this one of the police forces here in the UK have said they're increasing their visibility
