Bombshell was a fantastic podcast, if we don't mind us saying so.

It was both of its era and had elements that stood the test of time.

As we think about podcasting and the way we dialogue, it has evolved

in different ways to blend content, both video and subscriber episodes and all kinds of other

innovations. And over the last few years, as we mentioned on our reunion episode, our interests

and professional activities have expanded and changed along with our expertise. So today's,

there's lots of opportunities for analyzing the here and now and what's hot in Washington, but not

much opportunity to dive deep. So we are relaunching, but with a twist, we're calling this new

edition Sirens. And our goal is to dissect the institutions underpin American power, which sounds super nerdy, but we know you love it.

We're covering a lot of issues from our old era, but include technology and governance as well as national security issues to unpack what is just a fire drill?

You don't need to pay as much attention and what you should be running for a shelter

for. So with maybe a little less White House mayhem, but still the wit and charm you've come to

expect, we're going to start on this podcast. It is a work in progress. So we'll ask you to join us on

this Odyssey as we figure out what works and what is likely to lure men to their

death. We're going to focus a lot on the ladder, just to be clear. So we've got everybody for that

as rationally as they can. But what they we're going to keep going with, but in a slightly

different way, is keeping up our usual bongshel questions. But we've got to test out new ones to see what
