Summary

Cell phone video again was the focus of testimony today in Alex Murdaugh's murder trial. Prosecutors played a video reportedly taken by Murdaugh’s 22-year-old son Paul just minutes before he and his mother, Maggie, were killed.

In the video that is just under a minute long, three voices can be heard, Maggie Murdaugh and Paul, and one other. Prosecutors believe the third voice is Alex Murdaugh. Paul Murdaugh was trying to take a video of one of the dogs he was caring for. The dog's tail had a condition and Paul had been texting with a friend.

The timestamp on the video is 8:44 p.m., June 7, 2021.
