the new speaker. A lot of people had never heard his name before. This is someone that came after

weeks of debate and different bigger names that you knew. This seems to be a really good,

staunch, hardcore, principled individual.

You know him personally.

Mike Johnson is a good man, and I think he's going to make an effective speaker of the House.

I think this is a very good development.

Mike is from Louisiana.

He's a member of the House, obviously.

He's 51 years old.

He's relatively young. He is smart. He's a constitutional lawyer. So his career, before he was in Congress,

he was in the state legislature, but before that, he was a constitutional lawyer, and he worked

with the alliance defending freedom

focus principally on religious liberty and and they litigate cases all over

the country including at the US Supreme Court in defense of religious liberty

and and Mike worked for ADF ADL for years and and and

and did a terrific job Mike now is or had been prior to being elected speaker
