A painful 2025 season is over, and now all eyes are on what this team will do over the course of the next couple

discussion for the New York Jets through the course of the offseason over the next several months.

What should the New York Jets do with the second pick in the 2026 NFL draft? And I have an opinion

on this that I'm sure will be controversial. Now, at this point,

it seems like the player we're going to be talking about a lot between now and the draft is Dante

Moore, the quarterback out of Oregon. Things can change, of course. We are only in the semifinals of the

college football playoff. But at this point, it seems like most people expect Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman

trophy winner out of Indiana, to go to the Las Vegas Raiders number one overall.

Now, more and Mendoza go head to head in the semifinal when Indiana plays Oregon.

So things could change.

If Mendoza has a bad game and more lights it up in the semifinal and championship and carries Oregon to the title, you know, maybe things change. Maybe over the course of the process, things will change. It's possible more passes Mendoza at some points, you know, during the pre-draft runup. That's happened before. But at this point in time, it seems like most people are expecting if everything
