Welcome to the Bronx Pins Stripe Show.

As you're listening to this, it's probably about 24 hours from opening day. It finally made it. It was a long, dark, cold winter that was 65 degrees half the time in the Northeast. Yes, global warming is real. Scott, what's up? We're now our weather podcast again.

Weather podcast, global warming is real. The Yankees are real because they're playing tomorrow. No more pajamas. We get into real uniforms. It's going to be great. Can't wait for it. You sound fired up. I am fired up. I'm very fired up because baseball is back. And spring is here, whether it's been 65 degrees or not, it does feel a little different because things are blooming. They were confused, but now they're not confused because it's getting warmer consistently, and they can actually bloom. So I'm happy for the trees. I'm happy for the bushes. I'm happy for the flowers. I'm happy for us because we get to watch New York Yankees baseball. That actually matters. Yes, the first game. Oh, wait, no, no, they expanded the playoffs.

So it doesn't really matter that much. I'm just kidding. Well, when does it start matter? All-star break? Well, it depends if shit goes wrong. That's what is going to say. If they have a bad April, then every game matters. It depends. it depends how the uh if we have a good april it's like okay that's cool we we were on pace to win

We were on pace to win 197 games last year of the first half. So let's see what happens. All right. So today we've got a busy episode. It's a busy week. We obviously did the Volpe reaction and the Severino news on Monday. Hope you guys checked that episode out.

We've been recording preview episodes nonstop,

and there's like four more to go today and the rest of the week.

Those will all be coming out over the next week.

We're doing, obviously, all the AL East teams,

plus a team that we want to highlight from each division and using that as a jumping off point to highlight

the other divisions. So stay tuned for those.

Yeah, that. Because we're playing everybody this year, the schedule is different.

We're going to, we're going to, you know, look around the league a little bit and see what's going on in those other divisions.

At first, our ambition was to get a representative from every team and do a quick preview,

and then we realized how to think that was going to be, and it was too ambitious.
