I read this article the other day and it really got my attention and it made me reflect.

The article basically said people who make snap decisions are happier than people who agonize

over life's big choices.

And I always thought of myself as somebody who really had a good gut that I could look at

whatever the situation was, whatever the purchase was, whatever the relationship was, whatever the job was, how the job was handled, that my gut was really good that I would say, this is just what I feel, and I'm going with this.

And I used to have pride, my own pride, saying, this is a little something that you've got going on.

And that I started to reflect on that idea.

And yes, sometimes my gut was really good.

My best gut decision ever was Sherry Lynch, because I met her. We chatted for like five minutes,

if that, and I said, well, this is the right person for me to do a radio show with, just like that.

And people disagreed. There are people say she has no experience, you know, she's never been behind a microphone,

you know, she's never done a weekend show to, you know, try to hone her craft.

She's a producer.

And I said, yeah, but there's something else there.

And so here we are 32 years later.
