Summary

In this episode of Pretty Lies & Alibis, we cover two heartbreaking missing-person cases out of Texas. First, there is a tragic update in the search for Camila Mendoza Olmos, a missing teenager whose body was discovered in a field near her home. Authorities say foul play is not suspected, but the family is devastated as they wait for official identification.

We walk through what is known so far, including statements from law enforcement and Camila’s parents, who say she would never intentionally harm herself. We then turn to the ongoing and deeply troubling disappearance of Sydney Marquez, a 24-year-old neuroscience graduate who vanished while visiting friends in Houston.

Surveillance footage, abandoned belongings, and a mysterious phone access issue have left her family desperate for answers. Texas EquiSearch has joined the search, but leads remain limited. Sydney’s parents are urging anyone with information — regardless of immigration status — to come forward.
