0:00.0	I'm Coach Corey Wayne. Today we're going to talk about the different studies that have been done on
0:07.4	body count, pair bonding. I've mentioned these in some of the other videos I've done with Jen and
0:14.4	Gracie and Chunky and some of the other girls in the past. Whenever we talk about body count,
0:18.8	in other words, how many sexual partners somebody's had,
0:21.7	the correlation between more you've had, the less likely you are tied to be faithful or
0:28.4	stick it out in a marriage or long-term relationship. And so we actually pulled up some of the
0:35.3	different studies that have been done on it, talking about
0:39.5	premarital sex, how many partners they've had before getting married, and what the trends are
0:46.3	based on body count and their ability to go the distance, if you will.
0:52.0	So, Jen, what do you got? So the first article is from Institute for Families of War
1:00.0	Family Studies and it's called Counterintuitive Trends and the Link between Pre-Marital Sex and Marital
1:06.0	Stability by Nicholas Wolfinger. The article starts off saying American sexual behavior is much different
1:13.1	than it used to be. Today, most Americans think premarital sex is okay and will have three or more
1:17.3	sexual partners before marrying. What, if anything, does premarital sex have to do with marital
1:22.4	stability? So they looked at this study from the National Survey of Family Growth.
1:28.3	It says the National Survey of Family Growth collected in 2002, also 2006 to 2010, and then again, 2011 through 2013, for women marrying since the start of the new millennium.
1:42.3	Women with 10 or more partners were the most likely to divorce,
1:46.9	but this only became true in recent years.
1:50.0	Women with three to nine partners were less likely to divorce
1:53.2	than women with two partners,
1:56.5	and women with zero to one partners were the least likely to divorce.
