Summary

In 2010, popular American University accounting professor Sue Marcum is found bludgeoned to death in her Bethesda, Maryland home. Authorities first suspect a teenager who was arrested for stealing Sue’s Jeep. However, as details unfold, Sue’s long-time friend, Jorge Landeros, becomes the prime suspect. Unfortunately, by the time authorities obtain an arrest warrant, Landeros has fled to Mexico. 1:42.1	every day. When he did not receive a call from her that morning, he tried to call her

1:54.7	The concerned friend heads to Sue's home on Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland.
2:00.0	When there's no answer at the door, he lets himself in with a key that Sue had given
2:03.6	him in case of emergency. The house appears empty, but he's alarmed to see broken glass
2:09.6	and overturned furniture, obvious signs of a struggle. He searches the house for Sue
