Welcome into another edition of the WojPod on a busy day, a busy news day in the NBA here with our front office insider, Bobby Marks. Bobby, how are you?

I'm good, Woosh. How are you? Good. Well, let's start with what is the big news of the day. Anthony Davis of the Lakers, his MRI came back

and we reported that it found a calf strain and a reaggravation of that Achilles tendon injury.

It's going to be two to three weeks before they reevaluate and take a look at his timeline to return,

but I'm told to not expect him back, Bobby, before the All-Star break, that March 5th to 10th break.

So that takes you, you know, you get to March 10th, 11th, 12th, you know, that takes you almost, you know, to a month.

And so just let's start there for the Lakers. And this is

really in these last two seasons for them to have an injury that, I think this injury has

lingered with AD. He had been bothering him the last couple of weeks. He felt pain free. He said,

Sunday came back, played against

Denver and has a little, a little collision with Nikola Yokic, leg on leg, and you saw him

limp off. And now the Lakers are faced with sitting him, trying to get him healthy for the long term. And I think for L.A.,

really the first, having A.D. and LeBron together, the first real injury challenge now,

where one of them is going to be out of the lineup here for a fairly significant period of time.

Yeah, I think a couple of thoughts that came to mind when that news came out was get this team to mid-May in one piece.

That's the first thing as far as we know what this roster could do when they get into a postseason, a healthy roster with

LeBron and Anthony Davis.

The other thing was is that how are they going to manage the minutes of LeBron James going

forward?

Now is he going to have to continue doing a lot of this heavy lifting?

What is the impact going to be?

And my concern with this team
