Joining us right now, Bobby Carpenter, who played linebacker at Ohio State in the early 2000s

was with the Cowboys. Remember some of those matchups with the skins when he was drafted in the

first round by Dallas, played there for four years. Bounced around in the NFL for a while,

Bobby's been doing a great job in media. He is co-host of

the morning juice in the mornings on 97-1 the fan in Columbus, and he's done a lot of work on

Sirius XM covering college football. We've had Bobby on the show before, and we are happy to

have him back. So if I told

you your GM of an expansion team, and you had to pick one of the following four Ohio State

players with your first overall pick, Arvel Reese, Carnell Tate, Caleb Downs, or Sunny Stiles,

who would be the player that you would start your franchise with among those four?

Starting from scratch, we're trying to figure that whole thing out.

I would probably stuff, because there's a lot of good options there, like you said, and probably all of them will go in the top ten.

I would probably go with Sunny just because I'm a big believer in front

to back, inside to out, and I think he's going to be that centerpiece of your defense for a long time.

He checks all the boxes. He's big. He's physical. He's smart. You know, he can help you in the run and the

pass. He's got Blitz ability as well, great coverage ability, and just really, you know, rock

solid of a human being. And so I would go with him to kind of start that defense off, start

that team off and start building around. I don't know if you do this a lot, but, you know, as fans,

we do it a lot, especially this time of year. Do you have a comp for him?

It's tough because you look around and the guy, I was just looking at some of his stuff

again today. I've known Sonny, full disclosure with that. I mean, he grew up in the town

beside me. My dad was our high school football coach, so I got to see him since he was a freshman in high school, developed to the man and player that he is today.
