Bob Wykel was described as an "incredible gentleman" by those who met him. He was an older man who wore a diamond ring and a gold necklace, and he was known for his kind demeanor.But Bob's life was stolen by someone he thought was a friend: Myron. Myron befriended Bob, and on February 23rd, the two went on a trip together to look at a Thunderbird in Lakewood, Washington. Myron's sister Robin met Bob that day and said he seemed to be in a good mood and getting along well with Myron.But Bob never made it home.Investigators discovered that Myron had made suspicious phone calls from Bob's apartment on February 20th—the same day Myron claimed he was there for two hours. As detectives dug deeper, they uncovered evidence that Myron had killed Bob and stolen his diamond ring, trying to sell it to family members for cash. The investigation led detectives to Mother Nature's Acres, a 140-acre resort owned by Myron's family in Thurston County, Washington, which included an 11-acre spring-fed lake said to be so deep it had no bottom.
