Our first guest tonight is Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author Bob Woodward,

who's upending Washington and politics again with this new book,

new reporting that's been driving headlines right now

including Trump's secret Putin outreach drawing concern for some diplomats a

rebuke from the highest-ranking US general echoing there on the campaign trail.

It's also a Woodward scoop.

There's the concern about Trump in what are often traditional or

conservative circles of American politics and that is fitting with

Kamala Harris's pitch right now today to crying quote fascist threats to

democracy while she also very publicly embraces and campaigns with some top Republicans.
