Bob Myers is officially stepping down as the Warriors GM.

We've given ourselves a few hours, recording this at 7 p.m., had the day to digest, get our feelings through it.

And I feel like there's two things we've got to do. you know, part one, I just want to talk about Bob, celebrate him, all that sort of stuff.

And then part two will kind of get into everything else, you know.

But my question for you, more than anything, is, were you surprised?

It felt like you remember when KD the day or two before he was going to sign with

the Warriors, it made his announcement that he was going to sign with the Warriors, you kind of

started to feel like he was going to end up as a warrior, as unlikely it was.

That's kind of what it felt like with

bob myers um i think if you asked me a week ago i was like dude there's no way we literally did a show

we go dude there's no way then last night yesterday even the day before he kind of felt like uh well

well dude is gone he's he's pushing his his announcement he's he's making a whole thing about it. There's

no way you do that unless you, right, unless you're, unless you're gone, unless you're given a whole

speech, which he ended up doing. If you're signing an extension, dude, like that doesn't, that's a

PR release. You're not doing a self-indulgent hour-long show, which is what they ended up doing.

So not surprising, but I mean, pretty sad.
