In the wake of the devastating Aaron Rogers collarbone injury, I've got Bob McGinn who has covered the Packers for nearly 40

decades in Wisconsin. And I've got the longtime radio voice and a great rockantour Brad Sham of the Dallas Cowboys. But first, a couple of

thoughts on a new star in the NFL who I've gotten to know a bit and just the reason why I think

America really likes football in the wake of all of the reasons not to like football because of the

CTE concerns with parents which are real because of all the protests that occurred during the National Anthem at Games.

I mean there's a lot right now to look at the NFL and say,

man this league's got some serious problems but there's a player who's

come into the NFL this year one of the reasons I really like covering this game

and and one of the reasons I've covered it now this is my 34th season covering the NFL.

One of the reasons it's always so fun is that nothing is forever in the NFL.

Now it seems that way because the Patriots,'re going to be good until we all die

But I think you know when I say nothing is forever. I mean that

You know every year there's three or four or five stories that you say oh my god how did that happen some team rises a bunch of

teams fall you know and it's things that you really don't expect.

And this year, probably the most interesting new person in the NFL that I know of anyways,

Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans and I am

drawn to him this particular week because I watched a lot of the Texans game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

And in that game, Deshaun Watson, through three touchdown passes,

and that makes him the first rookie quarterback in NFL history
