0:27.9	shirt that read, Gotta Serve Somebody. It was a reference to Bob Dylan's 1979 classic of the same
0:35.2	title. The whole song is worth listening to, but you'll get the main
0:39.3	idea right in the first verse and chorus. You may be an ambassador to England or France. You may
0:46.6	like to gamble. You might like to dance. You may be the heavyweight champion of the world.
0:51.3	You might be a socialite with a long string of pearls. But you're going to have
0:56.2	to serve somebody. Yes, indeed. You're going to have to serve somebody. Well, it may be the devil or it may be
1:02.0	the Lord, but you're going to have to serve somebody. He's saying that it doesn't matter who you are.
1:08.8	We all serve someone or something. It might be ourselves,
1:13.3	it might be money, it might be a child, it might be our health, it might be our reputation,
1:17.7	it might be our comfort, but everyone serves something. And generally speaking, we serve that
1:23.5	thing because we believe it will make us happy. Sometimes that can be counterintuitive.
1:29.4	Maybe you don't think your job can make you happy, but you know it's what you orient your
1:33.6	whole life around, what you serve. Just dig deep and you'll see it. It may not be the job itself
1:40.3	you're serving. Maybe you're serving your reputation that the job gives you, or maybe you're
1:45.0	serving the dollars that the job earns you, or maybe you're serving the escape the job promises
1:49.8	you from ordinary life. I don't know. What I do know is that we all got to serve somebody or something.
1:58.3	And the king we serve for the sake of happiness, be it self or stuff, is ultimately
