Hebrew chapter 3 verse 6.

Christ is faithful over God's house as a son and we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and

are boasting in our hope. Don't you just love the language of the Bible?

Like this is just one verse and just like we see this like every day as we pray through a verse or a couple of

verses, the language, the phrases, every one of them inspired by the

Holy Spirit. There's so much here, and just this one verse, Christ is faithful

over God's house as a son, and there's so much there based on what he

was three is saying before this about the faithfulness of Jesus the

supremacy of Jesus over the household of God as the son of God.

And then it says, we are his house.

We're the household of God is talking about us who are in Christ for all who have placed your faith in Jesus

you're part of the household of God you are the temple of God the dwelling place of God, where is house?

And then listen to this language,

if indeed we hold fast our confidence

and are boasting in our hope.

Just think about that language. Hold. and our

confidence.

There are so many reasons in the world today not to be confident.

So many unknowns in the world, not to be confident.

So many unknowns in the world, so much uncertainty in the world,

instability, and not just in the world broadly, certainly as we look at the news,
