This is the Busted Open podcast. Kalani, she's been on an island all to herself. Like, everybody celebrated Ash, who was the heel, bringing the title back home when it was from J.C. Jane.

But nobody is making this overall celebration for Kalani.

And I'm watching her promo and I'm like, man, she's right.

But how she delivered, how she had almost style and grace while healing a crowd was such a different point of view.

And healing the crowd without really healing them until she just like turned around.

I was like, shut up because I'm talking.

And then also being like like this helps elevate her

with that talking segment because it's like yes i'll say it again uh when was the last time you ever saw

kalani jordan have a bad match um she doesn't for a woman who's only been working, what, three years or been on television

for that amount of time, like she really picked up this business and doing excellent business

for both TNA and NXT.

And just because you don't get along in a locker room,

what does WW always say,

I'm not in this to make friends,

I'm in this to make money.

The other part, like, you know, I look at,

I say wrestling more as a team success and you're only as good as your opponents and you're only as good as your team.

It's different philosophies. It's different coaching formulas. Both work. I do tell people, hey, sometimes you've got to be selfish.

Hey, just because this person is your friend doesn't

mean this. Like, you just got to try to understand it. But back to Kalani's promo, everything that

she said really hit home because she was right. But then it's like, why the hell you don't
