Winter is coming, and I'm going to talk about it right now.

Man, winter is coming. A lot to talk about. Hell of the main event. However, however, there are so many groundbreaking performances or matches that take you to the next level.

And I really do feel we saw that in a, in a weird time, uh, right now.

Not so much in wrestling because wrestling is so frigging hot, but just a weird time in

pro wrestling, right? Where tribalism, people coming at you for all different ways about

five-star matches, storytelling, you know, longer-term stories. This has been the age of time, right?

If we're going to talk about match quality and storytelling,

Hogan Andre, right? I'm going to try to go back this far back, 1987. And go back and go back

and watch that match. I think it was five stars. And I'm just going to use this bullshit meter of the five star match

because it drew the most houseball. But if you're talking about actual wrestling, if you're talking

about in-ring, nothing compared to the five-star match of Savage versus Steamboat, both on the same card, both had two different reactions,

right? And if you want to go back to a time where everyone's so hypercritical about everything,

Savage Steamboat finished wasn't a wrestling finish. It was interference, and then by George the

animal steel, and then, you know, Steamboat captures it. Hogan Andre was a definitive finish. It was interference and then by George the Animal Steel and then, you know,

argue about. We discuss quite on social media quite angrily. And I don't think you need to have

that conversation that way. I think you just need to have the conversation of, hey, this is your opinion.

This is what you like.

And then the other part of it is like, I like everything.
