Welcome to the Busted Open After Dark podcast. I'm your host Tommy Dreamer, Swerve Strickland,

Kenny Omega, match of the year candidate, and I'm going to talk about it right now.

This is the Busted Open podcast. Guys, I got to tell you right off the bat, that main event

got me amped up and excited. It was exactly what the

fans chanted from the beginning. Awesome. And the this is awesome chant right off the bat

sets the tone of what you feel you're going to see when you experience it live. It's nothing like it.

And man, oh man, did both performers deliver. This, it's nothing new for Swerve to be aggressive.

But he's been so beloved. And this match, I just got to say the best way to

put it over is to watch it. It was a great wrestling match. They told a great story. It was two

top guys. I love the whole build, first time ever on TV.

Stuff like that meant a lot to all of this type of build. And then at the end of the day,

what I always say, no matter how much hype, story, the two men have to deliver,

and they did. They brought a next level element of the will to win, the will to be a world

champion, and what they would do to sacrifice their bodies to get to the next level.

Both guys have held the AEW world title.

Both guys know what it's like to be on top.

Love the overlooking MJF as champion.

And, you know, this match was a special match.

Again, I don't want to give away too, too much for the actual match because it was just great.

And then there was a few things that hooked me even more.

Guys killing it, killing each other, doing high-risk maneuvers, selling them.

Even there was a few mistakes, a few hiccups, but it played into the story even better
