Heat Wave. Are they keeping it hot?

This is the busted open podcast.

It really did build off of Heatwave, if you want to talk about the event this past weekend.

I mean, it was a natural build off of what we saw there.

Because Obafemi has the win, you know, confronted by Ricky Saints, and then you see Saints

here involved again. Now, before he gets to Obafemi, he, of course, has the promo and is interrupted by Josh Briggs.

And things get a little heated there. The crowd gave some heat to Briggs. Good job by him in that moment.

But it was eventually Saints, you know, winning that match to set up the match with Obafemi at no mercy.

So, I mean, the top of the card there is getting pretty strong.

You know, when you look at NXT and the people that have been involved in those matches,

I mean, I thought Javon Evans and Oba Femi was tremendous the other day,

and really a contrast in styles, right? I mean, Femi has so much power, just gargantuan.

And what a good example for the NIL program that that's been for WWE can't be too far from the main roster. You can't imagine that

he's too far from the main roster. But in the meantime, he's got this showdown with Ricky Saints

fresh off of the match with Evans. And they kind of coyly reference to Evans not being around or

not knowing what's next with him. But you can clearly see the star power there too. I've seen a lot of buzz

around him in recent times and his ability, of course, in the ring as a high flyer and what he's

able to put together. But Femi has been a dominant presence, dominant presence, whether it's at

NXT or TNA, everybody that gets in his way, he kind of mows down.

Now you have a new contender, if you will, in Saints who cut a good promo at the beginning

of the show, and it was kind of a fait accompli that he would win that match to get the number
