The main event tonight saw Kalani Jordan and Julia taking on your NXC women's champion

Roxanne Perez and and Cora Jade.

And this match got set up, this main event got set up earlier in the night.

We saw the night kick off with Julia in the ring,

talking about how she won the women's iron survivor match coming out of deadline.

We saw Roxanne and Cora jump and beat up Julia, and then we saw Kalani Jordan make the save.

Here are the things that stood out to me about tonight's in-ring to kick off the show.

I would have liked a little bit more energy from my champion.

Sometimes you've got to read the room, and sometimes you've got to know that you've got to read the room.

And sometimes you got to know that you got to really get into the people to make them react.

Roxanne did a fine job.

But I think if she would have had a little bit more oomph and energy and hutspa behind her,

the crowd would have been into it a little bit more.

Sometimes the NXT crowd here down at the PC is super, super hot, and sometimes they're super not.

It's not like NXT is going to a different city all the time.

When they go to a different city,

the crowds were always super hot, as we've seen,
