NXT, why Obafemi and Trick Williams lead the way for Sean Michael's brand. And it starts right now.

This is the Busted Open Podcast. First up, I want to talk a little bit about the champion.

Oba Femi, the NXT champion. I mean just look at him.

He is a physical specimen. He looks like he walked off an action movie set when you see him,

right? When you watch him and the way he looks, it is amazing. But it's just not the look though

with Obafemi. He's just got the presence and he's got the delivery. And most importantly, he is dominant in the ring.

Watching him reminds me a lot of how I felt watching Gunther during his run,

not just in NXT, not just NXT UK, but in WWE as a heavyweight champion.

You'd watch Gunther and you'd say, who's going to beat Gunther?

I thought that for a long time.

And I watched that NXT UK brand a lot when it was lively and it was interesting.

And it was kind of like, there's a brand in the UK.

Vince doesn't know what's happening here, but we got pro wrestling in the UK, and it was great.

And then for the old brand of NXT, the same thing.

Gunther was there, and Gunther was able to dominate.

The old Walter turns into Gunther, and so when I watch Obafemi, I'm trying to get those

Gunther vibes in which you see him and you say, who's getting through that guy?

And I'll say this, Obafemi just isn't a short-term champion.

He could actually hold on the title and then take that title into the World Rumble next year.

He's that kind of guy that you say, well, who's coming down now? And you look down the aisle,

it's like, oh my God, here comes Obafemi. And he can still be NXT champion. The championship,
