The opening match was frigging off the charts.

Of course, it's what you're going to get when you have a Will Osprey,

a hangman Adam Page, Josh Alexander, and Takesha, Don Carlos on commentary.

Awesome, awesome, 30 minutes of exactly what it's supposed to be, professional wrestling.

Obviously, we have Will Osprey and Hangman Page.

They have, I don't want to say animosity, but professional animosity in the sense of they'll

both be facing each other in the Owen Cup. So we have two guys who aren't going to always get along. This version, I really do think

the crazy version that we got with Hangman Page really, really did fit him. I wish he kind of

could lean into it a little bit more during his matches, because I do think the AEW fan base

would get behind him even more.

We all know he's a great wrestler. We all saw different character work from him. But if he leaned in a

little bit more to that crazy stuff when he was being a heel, also working with swerve,

uh, I feel the fans would buy in more and give him the, I don't want to say plausible doubt,

but could he snap at any time?

But he's been straight up babyface, and I've been a big fan ever since he burst upon the scene,

enjoyed him in Ring of Honor,

enjoyed him in New Japan,

and always have enjoyed him in AEW.
