This is the Busted Open podcast.

From the historic ECW arena and right off the bat I got to say from somebody whose career began in that building pretty much,

I always say Tommy Dreamer was born in that building.

It has been an awesome show.

Philly showed up and always represented.

I also feel it is the every company that has gone there from hell,

W.E, TNA, my own wrestling company.

Tonight had the what I would envision if ECW was still in business today.

Just the feel of it, but also the dimensions of

the building were very, very how they used to be from that side entrance. They blocked out or took

away that stage. They were sold out tonight. So it had one of the most genuine feels to ECW, like I said, if it was 2025.

I loved it.

I loved the crowd energy.

And like I said, Philadelphia always brings it, recognizes it.

On this day, also, I'm surprised I didn't talk about it, but this is where ECW was really

formed in the sense of Shane Douglas threw down the NWA title and declared extreme

championship wrestling, kind of like took over on this day a crazy-ass day I was in

watched it and they're alive and it was it was nuts back to current day just a look in the field

I get don't go with nostalgia I thought thought when NXT went there the first time,

they did an excellent job of incorporating the past with the present.
