Yeah, it was crazy. We had to move because my dad had like this insurance agency.

Okay.

And, but he was also the town drunk.

And it was the town, the town my mom was from and she uh her family was

well known in town i mean you know i lived across the street from like they were well-respected

yeah my my grandfather was on the city council.

My uncle was an attorney and you literally could go to my uncle's house and the governor

of the state of Missouri and John Glenn were there, you know, the astronaut.

So, I mean, they ran in a real word circle.

And Cheryl Crow's dad was from there.

And I grew up from, I mean, the first five years of my life, I lived across the street from

Cheryl's grandparents grocery store.

Oh, okay.

You know, so it was just really a farm town.

So your father pissed people off and they had to get out of town?

Well, you know what?

My dad was the greatest guy in the world until he got

drunk. Was he a mean drunk? Oh, he was a bad mean drunk. Extremely mean. And I mean, the guys who

were the cops were his insurance agency was caddy corner from the police station you know and the guys were his buddies you know

but he'd make them fight him to put him in jail when he when he was out you know doing his thing so

he became a Christian and a preacher all like in...
